Pool Access Ramp | West Chester, PA

One of my oldest customers asked me to build an access ramp from their rear deck to their pool deck.  The structure consisted of sixteen 3′ deep post supports.  During the digging of one of the post holes I severely sprained my ankle.  It was estimated that I had a level two to three ankle sprain and was on crutches for 2 weeks.  Needless to say I healed up and finished the project.  Although, my golf swing took quite a while to get back to regular form.  Take a look and see how it turned out.

I call this "The Skeleton".
The Skeleton, as seen from the deck. I even added weed block under the structure.
The decking was installed in the direction of travel. 2x4s were installed along the perimeter as protection from the edge of the ramp.
Multiple angles and levels add an interesting visual appearance.
The ramp, heading down to the pool for a nice refreshing dip.
