Access Panel Installation | West Chester, PA

This customer had a very particular issue.  The wall of the closet that housed her electrical panel in the finished basement covered the top of the panel.  During an inspection in preparation for the sale of her house the inspector told her that, by code, the full electrical panel has to have the ability to be full accessed, even the face panel screws.  When I did the estimate she told me that the inspector said an access panel would work fine, just as long as the panel can be accessed when needed.  Take a look at the access panel I installed.

Access panel closed. The homeowner was going to paint the panel to match the color of the wall.
