Butcher Block Top – Bryn Mawr, PA

I have said this before… business acquired through word-of-mouth is the best type to have.  This homeowner bought a beautiful piece of display furniture from a store that was going out of business.  Recycling at it’s best.  They wanted to use it as an island in their kitchen but the surface on top of the piece would not suffice in a kitchen environment.

In several other parts of their kitchen they had butcher block as the countertop surface and wanted to add the same type of look and durability to the island.  They did some research and found that Bally Butcher Block was located about an hour away from their house.  They took a ride, made their selections and when the top was finished I picked it up and delivered it to them.

After figuring exactly where they wanted the island located I installed the top for them and now they have an island that will stand the test of time.  I think it came out great…
